It’s a tournament packed with talent and big names who claim the superstar billing.
The countdown is on for Euro 2024 this summer – where the best and biggest names in European football will face off.
Scotland will kick off the European Championships against hosts Germany in Munich on June 14 – and from there the football just won’t stop for a mammoth month of blockbuster showdowns as some of the top names in the game go head-to-head.
Eyes across the continent will be glued to their TV screens while plenty more supporters will be packed in stadiums across Germany to catch a glimpse of some of the superstars that are gracing the tournament. Some will be looking to bring the curtain down on their careers with another accolade while others are looking for their first European championship win.
But who are the biggest names on show? We have it all covered from Cristiano Ronaldo to Virgil van Dijk and everyone in between.
The Spain captain has irked plenty of members of the The Tartan Army with his comments after Scotland’s historic 1-0 win in qualifying – but he is undoubtedly one of the big names that will catch the eye in Germany. He has won it all at club level with Man City, can he add a European championship to his collection?

Having been the runner-up at the last Euros, the England captain will look to go all the way this time around. After a trophy less campaign with Bayern Munich he will look to finally add silverware to his CV this summer – and add to his 62 goal tally for his country.

The Napoli star was a key player 12 months ago as his club lifted the Serie A title – and while their defence of the title didn’t amount too much he is still highly regarded for both club and country. Dubbed ‘Kvaradona’ he will be key to Georgia making any impact on the tournament.

The PSG number one may have to be in top form again if the European champions are to keep their crown.
