Tennis legend Rafael Nadal has confirmed his participation in the upcoming Laver Cup, joining Team Europe for their battle against Team World from September 20-22. “At this stage in my career I really want to go out there and make the most of every opportunity I am given”, Tennis superstar Rafael Nadal spoke post entering Bjorn Borg’s “Captains Picks”.
Laver Cup’s official X handle recently shared the update with a poster of the Spaniard proudly wearing the badge of Team Europe. With this, fans now have one more reason to have a keen eye on the event where Bjorn Borg’s team will fight to take on the title against John McEnroe’s team.

The Spaniard’s participation in the annual team event is set to be a delight for the fans. On his run to attain the title for Team Europe, Rafa will partner up with elites like Daniil Medvedev, Carlos Alcaraz, and Alexander Zverev to battle against Team World. Led by former tennis pro John McEnroe, the team will be defending the title with players like Alex De Minaur, Tommy Paul, and Taylor Fritz already on the roster.
