Must read

Spain will be looking to continue their perfect record at Euro 2024 in their final group game against Albania tonight, live on talkSPORT 2.

La Roja have been arguably the best team at the tournament so far, winning both of their outings without conceding a goal and already qualifying for the last 16.

Luis de la Fuente’s side are top of Group B and know that a point will be enough to secure top spot heading into the knockout stages.

They are set to rotate their line-up though, and that will encourage Albania who need to pull off a huge upset to prevent being sent home from Germany.

Albania vs Spain: What has been said?

Nico Williams is not getting too carried away with Spain’s impressive start to Euro 2024.

“We know we are going to play against good teams,” Williams said. “We are going to take it one step at a time as we always do.

“Fly low and, hopefully, things will go very well and we enjoy this European Championships and I hope we do the right things to reach the final.”

Manager De la Fuente is also thinking the same way as Williams but also stated that his side are the best team in the tournament.

He said: “There is no one better than us and we have to continue working with that conviction.

“I like the fact people are starting to think we could win it, but we need to stay happy, calm, and the players need to enjoy what they do best – playing football and continuing to grow.”
