Where to watch Euro 2024 matches in London, from screenings to sports pubs

Must read

It might only feel like five minutes ago that we were watching the Lionesses claim an historic victory in the Euro 2022 final at Wembley, but this summer all eyes are on Gareth’s boys as they head to Germany to battle it out for a chance to become the UEFA Euro 2024 winners.

The Three Lions’ attempt to go one better than their last European tournament got off to a solid – if slightly tepid – start with a 1-0 victory against Serbia and a 1-1 tie with Denmark. Next up they head to Cologne to face Slovenia in their final group game, kicking off at 8pm BST on Tuesday 25 June.

Whether you’re a die hard footie fan or just along for the ride, you’re going to want to know all the best spots in London to catch the matches. From screenings to sports pubs, these are the best places to watch Euro 2024 in London.

Euro 2024 fan zones in London

All three Boxpark locations will be screening live matches throughout the whole tournament. England games are expected to sell out fast – you can purchase tickets here

Wembley Park, HA9 0JT / 99 George St, CR0 1LD / 2-10 Bethnal Green Rd, E1 6GY; from £8.

The Walthamstow brewery will be showing all the games on screens inside and outside. Plus, there will be pyrotechnics for big moments and even a live band for England matches. Book online here

1 Priestley Way, E17 6AL; free, booking advised.

Live sport screening experts 4theFans are hosting two vibey venues for the Euros in the recently refurbished Dalston Roofpark and Greenwich nightlife hotspot Studio 338. As well as big anti-glare screens, matches at Dalston Roofpark will feature live DJs, interactive shows, and football legends in attendance. Discounted tickets available through Time Out here.

The Print House, 18-22 Ashwin Street, E8 3DL / 338 Boord Street, SE10 0PF; from £9.95.

TOCA Social at the O2 is a full-on immersive football experience. The venue will be showing all the games in the bar area or in private rooms with space for up to 30 footy fans. And if the match gets a bit boring, you can have a go at their penalty shoot-out game. Find all the info online here

Peninsula Square, SE10 0DX; from £5.

The SW11 music venue will have a 24ft HD cinema screen, six additional plasma screens and two screens on the balcony for all the England matches this tournament. Tickets are available online

21-25 St John’s Hill, SW11 1TT; from £9.79.

The Southbank venue has a huge outdoor courtyard and a big ol’ screen to watch all the action on. They’ve also got a bunch of great street food options to munch on (if you can stomach food between all the inevitable drama) from the likes of Bang Bang Burger, Meat Head, La Cocinita and more. Book a table here

The Queen’s Walk, SE1; from £5.

You’ll be hard-pressed to find somewhere in London with more screens than Flat Iron Square, which boasts a massive 18 inside and out. When you’re not glued to one (or several) of them, expect fan zones full of fun, appearances from “notable sporting alumni”, street food aplenty and a dedicated tap room to keep your whistle wet enough for all the cheering you’ll be doing. Book your spot here.

45 Southwark Street, SE1 9HP; free, table bookings advised.

The freshly reopened Market Halls Victoria is the perfect place to watch the footie from. It won’t be showing the games on the rooftop, but inside. Probably a safe bet considering the Great British weather. Reserve a place for the Euros here.

191 Victoria Street, SW1E 5NE; free, bookings advised.

The Blues Kitchen in Camden, Shoreditch and Brixton

The Blues Kitchen’s Camden, Shoreditch and Brixton venues will be airing all of England’s matches this summer, from the group stages to (hopefully) the final. Southern-inspired treats will be on hand to keep you from biting your nails to ruins if things go to penalties.

111-113 Camden High Street, NW1 7JN / 134-146 Curtain Road, EC2A 3AR / 40 Acre Ln, SW2 5SP; from £5

At Bermondsey’s The Last Talisman, you can choose between communal viewings in the main part of the venue, or more intimate, private seshes in the private dining spaces. Whichever you choose, cheer on your chosen team with the Beer Bonanza Bucket, which offers 10 chilled beers for £50. Bookings advised.

171-173 Bermondsey Street, SE1 3UW; free, bookings advised.

The Cause’s brand new courtyard will play host as the venue turns the Euros from football tournament into full-blown festival. Its trademark spirit of unity and inclusivity will be at the forefront of the events, which will feature match screenings, food and drinks packages, pop-up merch stores and a music line-up that nods to footie culture over the years. Buy tickets here.

60 Dock Road, E16 1YZ; from £5.

All three Bounce locations – Shoreditch, Battersea and Farringdon – will be showing England’s games in this year’s tournament. Take advantage of the ping-pong purveyors’ special match package and enjoy unlimited pizza from kick-off til the final whistle, two drinks and a seat to watch from. When everything’s over, celebrate or console by taking things to the ping-pong table.

241 Old Street, EC1V 9EY / Hall B, Battersea Power Station, Level 1, Turbine, SW11 8DD / 121 Holborn, EC1N 2TD; from £10.

If you’re feeling lucky, head down to Cinnamon Kitchen and place a bet on the team you think will win. If you’re on the money come the final whistle, you’ll get 50 per cent off your final bill. Quote ‘EUROS2024’ when booking here.

4 Arches Lane, Nine Elms, SW11 8AB; table booking required.

Pay a visit to Market Place’s Vauxhall or Peckham branches for one of England’s matches or the Euro 2024 final, and you’ll be guaranteed to have your appetite satisfied, regardless of what happens on the pitch. A wealth of street food – from Duck Shed to Annapurna Spice – will be on offer, plus £5 pints of beer and cider. Bottomless brunch packages will also be available for £35, including a £15 food voucher and two hours of unlimited drinks while you cheer on the lads.

7 S Lambeth Place, SW8 1SP / Unit 10, The Aylesham Centre, Rye Lane, SE15 5EW; free.

The Duke of Greenwich

The Duke of Greenwich’s beer garden has been transformed into a footie-watching haven just in time for the first whistle. A massive 3m-by-3m screen has been put up outside so you can tune into all the action in the fresh air, and with a delicious drink in hand.

91 Colomb Street, SE10 9EZ; free.

This is certainly one of the classier settings to head for watching the football, but the swanky department store cinema is still promising plenty of atmosphere. The cocktail bar will be open and team members will be handing out hot dogs, nachos and snacks during half time at every game, in true stadium fashion, but with much, much comfier seats.

40 Duke Street, W1U 1AT; tickets start at £12.

With plenty of screens and 11 different food vendors, this food hall tucked away in the arches by Vauxhall train station is a sure to be a lively place to watch the football this summer. There’ll be signature cocktails, craft beers and plenty of food to keep you fuelled for the sporting action.

Railway Arches, Albert Embankment, SE1 7TP; free.

Not only is this new Camden venue promising 2-4-1 cocktails between 5 and 9 pm, hot chicken wings, artisan pizza and DJ sets running into the early hours after each match, there are four super screens where you can enjoy the football, too.

2 Jamestown Road, London NW1 7BY; free.

Signature Brew at Blackhorse Road and Haggerston

The Walthamstow brewery has got three screens on the go for the football this year, two in their huge yard and one cinema-sized screen indoors. Paired with 40 beer taps across four different bars, football themed games and popular 7 Bone ‘Brittany’ food truck, this is a great option to watch the euros. Their Haggerston location is showing some matches, too.

Unit 15, Blackhorse Ln, E17 5QJ / Railway Arches, 340 Acton Mews, E8 4EA; from £6.

This food court tucked away by London Bridge has table packages (for eight people) and VIP booths on offer in front of their massive screen for the Euros. Pints and pitchers are both on the menu, too. The big screen is only showing England games, or if you’re in a small group, you can head to the Courtyard Bar.

72-82 St Thomas St, SE1 3QX; from £16.96.

The south east London venue is showing all the England matches plus other fixtures across five 65-inch screens throughout the food hall and bar. For groups of six, seven or eight, there’s the option to pre-book a drinks package and have beers, cocktails or carafes waiting for you at kick-off.

95a Rye Ln, SE15 4ST; free.
