No team in this competition is unbeatable. The only team that seems to be just about total in their belief is Spain.
Of the teams left standing, yeah, they look the best. But it doesn’t matter, it’s a [knockout] cup, teams can get knocked out.
I’m rather looking forward to Spain-Germany. [The quarter-finals are] set up so well. The nice thing about it is that it’s not just the usual suspects. There is the odd surprise one in there. The Swiss taking the Italians out was really good because it says to everyone else ‘it’s not going to be the usual ones’.
There is an opportunity and how close Slovenia got also gives everybody an opportunity to say, yeah, we’ve got a chance. Nobody is the favourite, everybody’s got a chance to win this.
