People moves: Lupo joins OMERS Infrastructure to drive investments in Europe

OMERS InfrastructureLuca Lupo has been appointed managing director to lead investment efforts in transportation and community infrastructure assets across Europe. Lupo joins from Morgan Stanley where he was a managing director in the transportation and infrastructure team. he will be based in London.

DWSRichard Marshall has been appointed head of infrastructure research. Marshall will be responsible for supporting the DWS infrastructure platform with thought leadership on the global infrastructure market and the trends that can be translated into actional investment strategies and approach to investment portfolio construction. His role will be to work closely with DWS’s infrastructure private equity and debt teams, as well as the broader DWS Research Institute, to analyse current market conditions to support both transaction review and investment committee processes. He is based in London and reports to Hamish Mackenzie, Head of Infrastructure. Marshall joins DWS from Fitch Solutions where he joined in 2017 and was head of infrastructure and power research. Prior to this role, he was a senior infrastructure analyst at BMI Research.

GI Partners – The alternative investment firm has appointed Matt Barker to lead digital infrastructure investing in Europe. Barker has been appointed managing director of GI Data Infrastructure and will be based in London. GI Data Infrastructure is a sector-focused value-add infrastructure investment strategy, which invests in data transport, data center, wireless access, and tech-enabled infrastructure operating companies. Prior to joining GI Partners, Barker was a partner with 3i Infrastructure where he led numerous digital infrastructure investments in multiple European countries.

GLPJens Müller has been appointed sales director for Global Robotics Services, GLP’s robotics arm, in Germany and CEE. Based in Frankfurt, Müller will be responsible for developing new client relationships and supporting existing GRS customers across the region. He will also oversee commercial negotiation, working with project managers to ensure the ultimate success of projects. Prior to GLP, Müller served as the technical sales representative for Adlatus Robotics, where he led sales for Central Germany. Prior to this, Müller held a variety of positions across different industrial and automation companies, leading the establishment of sales operations in his role as head of sales at both Albert Pielhau and Herchenbach Industrial Buildings.

BNP Paribas Real EstateDaniel Maddox has been appointed to lead a newly created rights of light department. Maddox joins as director from GIA. He will work alongside Ian Bragg, national head of building consultancy. A right to light is an easement that gives a landowner the right to receive light through defined apertures in buildings on their land.

M&G Real EstateRegina Lim as has been appointed director, and head of property research Asia. Lim will lead and oversee the research team to produce strategic investment recommendations on the Asia Pacific property market. She will work closely with Jing Dong, CEO and CIO of M&G Real Estate Asia, Jose Pellicer, global head of investment strategy and Richard Gwilliam, global head of research to deliver and ensure consistent methodology is applied to the view formation of prospective performance for the property markets within APAC. Lim joins M&G from JLL, where she was head of strategic advisory and capital market research in Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia. She was previously from Standard Chartered Bank, UBS and Urban Redevelopment Authority.

NOVA Infrastructure – The middle-market-focused infrastructure investment firm has appointed Faisal Choudhury as senior vice president and Michael Troy and Noah Frick as associates. Choudhury was a principal at Glenfarne Group, where he focused on power, energy and energy transition. Before that, Choudhury worked at the International Finance Corporation in Istanbul and at Macquarie Capital in New York. Troy and Frick both bring five years of experience across different industries to the firm. Troy is returning to NOVA in a full-time role after spending two summers with the firm as a summer associate and has previously worked in valuations as an analyst at Lincoln International. Frick is a former investment fellow at Mobility Capital and a summer associate at McKinsey & Co. Prior to these experiences, he served as an intelligence officer in the US Army as a member of the 75th Ranger Regiment, Special Operations Command.

Inland Securities CorporationBrody Barlow, Andrew Cheek, Kennedy Collier and Brendan Tammany have been appointed regional associates. They will be responsible for developing sales opportunities and supporting financial advisors with relationship management within their respective sales territories. Barlow was a retirement specialist and customer relationship advocate at Fidelity Investments. Cheek held positions at Robinhood and Fidelity Investments and is a Marine Corps veteran. As a regional associate, Cheek will represent clients in the Mountain region. Collier was a registered retail broker for the Vanguard Group. As a regional associate for ISC, Collier will represent clients in the Plains region. Tammany was an internal wholesaler at Macquarie Asset Management.

Evora GlobalPradeep Menon has been appointed president and will be appointed to the board of directors. Menon is a former managing director of investment and advisory at Refinitiv. Prior to Refinitiv, he was the co-founder of RiskMetrics Group a global risk management firm that he helped scale from a start-up to an IPO culminating in the sale to MSCI. 

Homz – The US housing company has appointed Kim Diamond its board of directors. Diamond’s expertise will be critical to helping Homz advance its strategy of working with municipalities across the US to address their urgent needs for attainably-priced housing. Diamond has held senior leadership positions with several leading financial institutions, including Kroll Bond Rating Agency, S&P and Crescit Capital Strategies. Diamond is also a member of the board of governors of the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council. In addition, she sits on the board of directors for BrightSpire Capital, and serves as an advisory board member of Ai SPARK.
