England have done it!

Gareth Southgate has guided the Three Lions to consecutive European Championships finals following a victory over the Netherlands in Dortmund. England secured a 2-1 win at the Signal Iduna Park, courtesy of goals from Harry Kane and Ollie Watkins.

The Netherlands had taken an early lead with a stunning goal from Xavi Simons. England retaliated with a penalty a few minutes later, successfully converted by Kane.

The match seemed set to go into extra time, until Watkins – who had only come on as a substitute for Kane a few minutes earlier, found the bottom corner with a precise finish. The goal confirmed England’s spot in the final, where Southgate’s team will face Spain on Sunday night.

Ahead of what promises to be a historic night in Berlin, the Manchester Evening News provides all the information you need about the final.
