A new study has unveiled the cleanest beaches in Europe
Devon’s Blackpool Sands beach has been declared the cleanest beach in Europe, and four other British beaches have made the top 15.
This accolade comes thanks to TripAdvisor reviews and rankings from World50beaches, used by Fastest Payout Casinos to compile a list of the continent’s 15 cleanest stretches of seaside.
Visitors can’t get enough of Blackpool Sands’ pristine sands, clear waters, and tranquil atmosphere, alongside its high level of cleanliness. One in every four TripAdvisor reviews mentions its immaculate condition, reports the Express.
One review said: “A gorgeous clean beach to relax on. The staff running it were really lovely and welcoming both in the car park and the cafe. Nice clean toilets that had classical music piped in (first time for me! ). The beach and the cafe are a short walk from the carpark which is great if you have mobility issues.”
Another visitor added: “Very clean beach with clear water, private beach and you can tell even the bins were clean! Spent the day there, parking on site and toilets. Nice food place too. Absolutely a place to visit on a nice hot day and if in the area.”
In second place is Newquay’s renowned Fistral Beach, praised for its cleanliness in one in five TripAdvisor reviews.
One fan wrote: “Gorgeous beach for a walk. Swimmers and surfers hanging here so busy. Lifeguards in attendance too. Spotlessly clean beach with a breeze. Food and toilets also available with restaurants and take away options.”
Not only that, but other UK beaches such as West Shore Beach in Wales and Porthcurno Beach in England made the cut too at eighth and ninth place, meanwhile Scotland’s Luskentyre Beach in the Outer Hebrides placed 15th on the list.
A spokesperson from fastestpayoutonlinecasino.com commented on the results: “It’s a credit to England to be able to occupy the top two spots. Having three entries demonstrates that tourists’ perspectives about England aren’t always right.”
“Even more so when considering the weather is often not summer-friendly at this time of year, the beaches remain clean and tidy.”
