America teen disappears off cruise ship in Germany amid fears he was ‘lured’

An American teen has vanished off a cruise ship in Germany and his family fear he may have been “lured” away.

Aydin Brown, just 14, was last seen leaving the Caribbean Princess Cruise shortly after it docked at 7am in Warnemunde, Germany, on the Baltic Sea, according to Rostock Police.




Princess Cruises has confirmed they’re working with local police on a missing person case, reports the US Mirror. It’s understood cops are on the hunt for a witness who is shown in surveillance footage accompanying Aydin on Thursday morning before he vanished. The authorities urge this individual to get in touch with them immediately.

Aydin was travelling on the cruise with his grandmother. Rostock police said an investigation revealed that teen a nd his grandmother reportedly got into an argument which led him to leave the ship.

Princess Cruises said: “We are actively collaborating with German law enforcement on a missing person’s case involving a 14-year-old young man who disembarked from the Caribbean Princess in Warnemunde on Thursday morning without an escort.”

Over on social media, Brown’s cousin, Anne Yaktiyol, has voiced the family’s dread, suggesting he might’ve been snatched by an unknown individual. She posted: “My worst nightmare continues to unroll. Aydin remains missing. It appears once he left the ship in Warnemunde, Germany, he may have been lured away.”

By Thursday night, his grandmother disembarked and is now getting support from Princess Cruises staff in Germany.
