Amlak ready for Europe

Must read

RedSquare Rebel Nation artiste Amlak is gearing up for his upcoming promotional tour of Europe.

This will be his second trek to the continent; last year, he toured Europe as a supporting act for his uncle, Spragga Benz.

“I was in Europe last year with Spragga for three weeks, it was a tremendous experience. We performed at major festivals like Reggae Jam and Reggae Geel. We also performed on several other shows,” he said.

The Rastafarian entertainer, whose real name is Omar Gordon, is scheduled to leave the island this weekend for Europe to undertake a two-month tour in support of his debut album, Book of Judges.

The album, which is not yet completed, is a joint production between his RSQRB Productions imprint and True Lion Sounds Production out of Germany.

“I will be doing some performances and other promotional activities to promote my album while I’m in Europe. I’m also going to finish up the album while I’m there,” said Amalak.

The first single off the album, titled Judge, was released on July 9.

“So far, the response to it has been very promising. The video for the single was also released in July, it was premiered on Reggaeville.com,” he said.
