Basketball Ireland would like to invite expressions of interest from players eligible to take part in the FIBA 3×3 Nations League (U23) and FIBA 3×3 Europe Cup qualification in 2024.

FIBA 3×3 Europe Cup qualification will take place in Pristina, Kosovo on June 8th and 9th. Players interested in being part of this squad should be available for training in May and if selected, to travel from the 7th of June to the 10th of June 2024.

3x3EuropeCup (1)

Ireland men compete at last summer's FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup qualifier in Cyprus.

This will be our second year in the FIBA 3×3 Nations League, where the format remains unchanged as two, ‘triple stop’ tournaments.

This means teams will travel to a designated venue to play three tournaments at the same venue on three successive days. This will take place twice during the season which runs between May and August, with the finals being held in September should we qualify.

Exact times and dates will be confirmed once FIBA conduct the draw for the 2024 tournament.

Regulations

Men and women interested in being considered for selection must be under the age of 23 as of midnight, December 31st 2023.

You can express your interest by completing this form:

  • Not all players will be selected to attend trials.
  • This will be determined on previous experience, standard of play and eligibility to play for Ireland.
  • Anyone wishing to play for Ireland must hold a valid Irish passport.
  • Players living outside of Ireland will be considered for selection.
