Bruce Springsteen Postpones Europe Shows Due To “Vocal Issues”

Must read

Bruce Springsteen has postponed some European shows of his ‘Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band’ tour due to “vocal issues.” Springsteen recently postponed his Marseille show “under doctor’s direction” and announced he’s rescheduling his Prague and Milan concerts. “Further examination and consulting has led doctors to determine that Bruce should not perform,” read a statement on his Instagram. “Bruce should not perform for the next ten days. Bruce is recuperating comfortably, and he and the E Street Band look forward to resuming their hugely successful European stadium tour on June 12 in Madrid at the magnificent Civitas Metropolitan,” read the statement. This comes only a few days after the ‘Born in the USA’ singer accepted a Fellowship from the Songwriting Academy at the Ivor Novello Awards. Springsteen took to the stage at the awards with a hoarse voice after a rain-soaked concert in Sunderland a few nights before. “I was like, ‘What is this weather? Driving rain, wind… standing in front of me, in the rain, I realized: These are my people,” said Springsteen. New dates for his postponed shows will be announced soon, and Springsteen is set to resume his tour June 12 in Madrid.
