Nearly 1,000 industry colleagues gathered at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel in central London on Monday night for the 28th annual Business Travel Awards Europe 2023, where the winners across 21 categories were announced.
The black-tie event, organised by the BTN Group, included a welcome Champagne reception sponsored by SIXT and entertainment from Soul Fraternity, sponsored by Heathrow Express.
Welcome speeches were delivered by BTN Group executive vice president Louis Magliaro and Jason Geall, executive vice president, global SME, of the event’s headline sponsor American Express Global Business Travel, before a three-course gala dinner and awards ceremony got underway, hosted by TV presenter, comedian and magician Stephen Mulhern.
Recognising industry leadership, partnership and innovation, entries for the awards were received from companies, teams and individuals from across Europe, and were assessed by an independent panel of judges comprising 29 travel buyers and consultants.
