easyJet’s twice-weekly flights from London to Tromsø will launch on 11 November with departures on Mondays and Fridays. Tickets starts at €94 one way.

The British-based low-coast airline is from before flying to two destinations above the Arctic Circle; Rovaniemi and Kittilä in Finnish Lapland.

Snowfall, polar night and freezing cold are trending like never before among international selfie-taking tourists. Newspaper Nordlys (paywall) was first to report about easyJets arrival.

Tromsø ranks top in northern Norway and with the local airport expanding its terminal to facilitate more international flights, European airliners are booking slots.

As previously reported by the Barents Observer, Tromsø saw a 126% increase in passengers on International flights in January compared with the same month in 2023.
