ELT Sales Consultant | Education | Central/Eastern Europe – United Kingdom

Do you have current knowledge and experience of the educational publishing industry with a proven track record of sales, ideally within Central and Eastern Europe? Our client is a leading global education and technology company who would like to appoint an experienced Educational Sales Consultant to cover these territories. The successful candidate can be based locally in either the UK, Czech, Germany, Italy or Greece and have the right to work and continually operate from there.

You will promote a range of key products and digital products and solutions in Higher Education institutions, Private Language Schools and state schools in the assigned sales territory to achieve agreed annual sales goals.

Customer-focussed and results-driven, you will have demonstrable experience within ELT or Ed-Tech and will have previous experience within sales, publishing or teaching.

Responsibilities include:

  • Promoting all relevant products direct to key PLS, HEIs and state schools as appropriate within the territory through personal visits and online meetings
  • Working closely with ELT Marketing to arrange and deliver promotional campaigns, webinars, online and in-person conferences
  • Preparing and delivering presentations to Directors of Study and decision-makers
  • Acting as a contact point for customers in the designated markets and segments
  • Entering customer contact and activity data in Salesforce ensuring accurate data records for all customers and pipeline opportunities
  • Maximizing print and digital revenue under the supervision of the Senior Sales Manager
  • Monitoring competitor activity across the region

This role requires frequent travel within the assigned sales territory of Central and Eastern Europe. There will also be occasional travel outside of the sales territory for conferences and team meetings. You will have strong negotiation and communication skills and will be highly motivated and well organised. Your time management and planning skills will be first class and you must have a clean driving license for this position.
