Must read

As anticipation builds ahead of Sunday night’s Euro 2024 final between England and Spain, fans are scrambling for tickets to the big match.

But for those who want to experience the atmosphere back home in England, there are plenty of options to watch and enjoy the game.

Here are some places you can go to soak up the momentous occasion.

The O2, London

Football fans will be able to watch the Three Lions attempt to end 58 years of hurt at the capital’s largest arena, with 15,000 people expected to watch in the O2.

The initial ballot registration has now closed but unclaimed tickets will be rereleased at noon on Saturday.

City Hall said the screening at the O2 would be shown on a 16-metre screen with pre-match entertainment kicking off at 6pm.

Clapham Grand, London

The Clapham Grand will be showing the final on a massive 25-ft screen but tickets have already sold out, such is the venue’s popularity for major England games.

Fear not though, there is a waiting list – but fans must book tickets in advance.

AO Arena, Manchester

In Manchester, the AO Arena has confirmed it will host 21,000 fans for the final.

The arena hosted a viewing of England’s semi-final win against the Netherlands. Tickets can be booked online.

Central Park Fan Zone, Newcastle

It will, of course, be showing the final too, with tickets priced at £7.50.

Luna Springs, Birmingham

Luna Springs in Birmingham says it is hosting “Birmingham’s biggest Euros fan zone”, with giant HD LED screens.

There is enough space for 1,000 England fans, with street food and all-day live entertainment for £10 a head.

The entry fee does include a can of Rekorderlig or Carling, so that’s a nice little bonus.

Millennium Square, Leeds

Supporters in Leeds will be able to congregate in Millenium Square, which is playing host to a big screen throughout the tournament.

Entry is by advance ticket only and it is a standing-only event, with a licensed bar and street food available.
