In a move that bolsters Peppa Pig’s presence in Eastern Europe, Entertainment One Licensing (eOne) has appointed licensing agents Plus Licens AB and Mondo TV to manage programs for the preschool property in the region.
Plus Licens AB will manage the consumer products program for Peppa in Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Mondo TV, meanwhile, has come aboard to rep the brand in Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia and Kosovo.
Peppa Pig is currently a top-rated show on Polish TV channel MiniMini+, where it has been broadcast since 2007.
For eOne, the company has been busy expanding Peppa’s reach across the globe, most recently announcing new licensing deals for the popular pig in Australia.
