Spain, Italy and Switzerland enjoyed winning starts on the second day of the 2024 European Championship on Saturday.
The Swiss saw off Hungary in the opening match, before a new-look Spain side cruised past an ageing Croatia team.
Italy, the defending champions, then recovered from the shock of going behind after 23 seconds against Albania to fight back and win 2-1.
Gareth Southgate’s England start their campaign against Serbia on Sunday, when Slovenia vs Denmark and Poland vs Netherlands are also on the menu.
