It’s here! After weeks of matches and more football than we’ve known what to do with, we our long summer of international football comes to an end today (at least until the Olympics). Only Spain stands in the way of football coming home for the first time in nearly 60 years, though notably nobody asked football if it WANTS to come home, seems presumptuous if it’s already built a life overseas.
