For those seeking cleanliness when enjoying a day on the sands, research has revealed that Blackpool Sands beach in Devon is officially the cleanest beach in Europe. Additionally, three other British beaches also secure places in the top 15.

Fastest Payout Casinos carried out comprehensive research looking at TripAdvisor reviews and lists compiled by World50beaches, to identify the 15 cleanest beaches across Europe.

The picturesque Blackpool Sands, with its crystal-clear waters and peaceful ambience, received glowing reviews from visitors, particularly for its immaculate condition. In fact, cleanliness featured in one out of every four TripAdvisor reviews, reports the Express.

One satisfied visitor said: “A gorgeous clean beach to relax on. The staff running it were really lovely and welcoming both in the car park and the cafe. Nice clean toilets that had classical music piped in (first time for me! ). The beach and the cafe are a short walk from the carpark which is great if you have mobility issues.”

Another added: “Very clean beach with clear water, private beach and you can tell even the bins were clean! Spent the day there, parking on site and toilets. Nice food place too. Absolutely a place to visit on a nice hot day and if in the area.”

Hot on the heels of Blackpool Sands, Newquay’s Fistral Beach clinched second position. One in every five TripAdvisor reviews highlighted the excellent cleanliness of this popular Cornish beach.

A happy beach-goer said: “Gorgeous beach for a walk. Swimmers and surfers hanging here so busy. Lifeguards in attendance too. Spotlessly clean beach with a breeze. Food and toilets also available with restaurants and take away options.”
