Legal & General Investment Management’s (LGIM), head of wholesale distribution for the UK, Europe and Latin America, Steven de Vries, is leaving the business under a major restructure of its distribution teams, Citywire Selector can reveal.
The changes are a shift from a channel approach to a geographical approach, replacing two co-heads with one. It also amounts to takeover of the wholesale distribution roles by the institutional team.
LGIM’s head of Europe institutional, Volker Kurr, will add Europe wholesale to his job description, while Mark Johnson, currently head of institutional clients, becomes head of UK – institutional and wholesale.
