Summer travellers in Europe beware!
Strikes across the continent threaten to disrupt flights, trains, and roadways throughout July including a new strike in Paris just days before the Olympics.
Paris Airport Strike Threatens Olympic Travel?
Paris airports could face a major disruption on July 17th, just 10 days before the Paris Olympics begin.
Unionized workers are walking out in protest over bonus pay, potentially causing delays in baggage handling and check-in at both Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports.
This strike could significantly impact athletes and spectators arriving for the Games.
Other European Travel Disruptions
Italy: Airport staff strikes are possible on July 21st at Milan Linate and Bergamo Orio al Serio airports. Strikes are banned across Italy’s transport sector from late July to early September.
