Despite record passenger levels on airlines, one low-cost carrier is rolling out international deals.
Norse Atlantic Airways, a discount carrier based in Oslo, Norway, is currently promoting a variety of deals from the United States to Europe for under $200, one-way.
Travel + Leisure spotted several notable deals, including:
- New York (JFK) to Paris (CDG) from $162
- New York (JFK) to London Gatwick (LGW) from $122
- Orlando (MCO) to London Gatwick (LGW) from $152
- New York (JFK) to Rome (FCO) from $199
Surprisingly, travelers can snag $162 one-way fares from JFK to Paris from July 8 through July 23, the period before the Opening Ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games.
Travelers can find the deals on Norse’s homepage, and should be advised that the discounted fares are in Norse’s Economy Light cabin, which only includes one personal item and where those passengers are last to board. For approximately $90-$100 more, passengers can often upgrade to Economy Classic, which includes a personal item, carry-on luggage, standard checked bag, and a single meal service. There is no published fare sale or expiration date for the deals.
“We pride ourselves on offering great value combined with excellent service and comfort. Our affordable fares continue to allow travelers to explore Europe this summer and beyond,” Norse Atlantic Airways SVP of Communications Philip Allport shared in a statement to T+L.
Norse recently celebrated its inaugural flight from New York’s JFK Airport to Athens, Greece on May 30th. Travelers looking to explore Greece can also save by booking Norse’s discounted one-way fare of $199.
The airline also offers service from Los Angeles (LAX) to Paris (CDG), and has a variety of one-way flight deals for October 2024 starting at $238 one-way.
It’s expected to be a busy summer travel season in Europe, with London and Paris taking the top two spots for international summer bookings, according to Chase Travel.
