Honda Motor Europe (HME) has confirmed a change in the senior management of its corporate communications team.
Nik Pearson has been appointed General Manager, Corporate Communications and Motorsport. Nik has worked for Honda since 2015, leading the corporate communications activities for the automotive division. Prior to joining Honda, he held a number of commercial and communications roles at Toyota GB.
John Kingston, who has held the position of Corporate Communications for the past 7 years, will now take up the position of Managing Director of the Business Transformation Office. As the mobility sector continues to evolve rapidly, John will be tasked with overseeing Honda’s transformation agenda as the company looks to take advantage of new and emerging opportunities in the sector. John has worked for Honda for 25 years, including roles in field sales, business planning, government affairs and corporate communications.
All the new positions took effect on April 1, 2024.
