Must read

Euro 2024 is heading into its latter stages, with Spain, France, the Netherlands and England all chasing continental glory.

There have been plenty of fine goals scored at the finals in Germany, including individual moments of brilliance and well-worked team strikes.

In contrast, there have also been a number of own-goals, with Euro 2024 set to live long in the memory for that very reason.

This is seemingly becoming a trend, with 11 scored at Euro 2020 – currently a tournament record.

However, Euro 2024 is giving that cross-Europe competition a run for its money, with 10 already scored and three matches of the tournament still to play.
