Mobility specialist Jyrney is to partner with messaging platform Grapevine to provide business travellers with “timely, company-approved” ground transport options ahead of their trips.
Grapevine sends personalised “right time, right channel” booking recommendations and content to travellers on behalf of TMCs and corporate clients.
The two companies’ new partnership, which will be showcased at Business Travel Show Europe in London this week, will see Jyrney’s ground transport platform integrated with Grapevine’s AI-driven communications platform.
Grapevine and Jyrney are both previous winners of the Business Travel Innovation Faceoff award at Business Travel Show Europe in 2021 and 2022 respectively.
In a statement, Jyrney said the development would allow travellers to “make informed decisions about their ground transport options for departure, arrival and return, while leveraging Jyrney’s powerful algorithms to select the best providers”.
Both travellers and bookers will be able to access content from global suppliers such as Blacklane, SIXT Ride and Carey International, alongside local taxi firms, including London’s black cabs.
“Timing is important when delivering a great user experience to travellers”, said Jack Dow, founder of Grapevine. “The reality is that travellers rarely think about their taxi to the airport when they book their flights.
“Integrating Jyrney means Grapevine can now suggest ground transport options in addition to our existing hotel, airport parking and lounge access offering, which is an exciting addition. Presenting options exactly when travellers need them in the lead-up to their trip increases the likelihood they will book in-platform and with approved suppliers.”
Daniel Price, founder of Jyrney, added; “Often ground transport is over-looked and forgotten in the trip booking process, so having Jyrney’s complete ground transport solution bookable through Grapevine’s smart messaging platform gives the passenger one less thing to worry about for their trip.”
