Real Madrid face Borussia Dortmund at Wembley in the Champions League Final, and while it has been shown live on YouTube in recent years, this season’s finale won’t be – but you can still watch it for free
Perennial champions Real Madrid look to claim another European Cup when they face Borussia Dortmund at Wembley on Saturday night.
Carlo Ancelotti bids to add Europe’s premier club crown to his resume yet again, as Toni Kroos seeks to land his SIXTH Champions League, as he brings the curtain down on his club career.
Standing in their way are the German upstarts, surprise finalists under Edin Terzic after escaping the so-called ‘Group of Death’, then knocking out Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-final and Semi-final respectively.
Kroos’ long-time German international colleague, Marco Reus, will similarly end his Dortmund career tonight after over a decade with the club he supported as a boy, and he bids to go out on a high.
Fans can watch all of this drama unfold without paying a penny. TNT Sports will be broadcasting the match on Discovery+ instead of YouTube this year.
Fans will be able to access live streams of the game on the Discovery+ app by simply registering for a free account to tune in to the stream. No payment necessary. Kickoff is at 8pm.
TNT Sports – previously BT Sport – have offered a free feed on European club competition finals ever since they bought the rights to broadcast the European competitions in the 2014/15 season.
There are three Englishmen hoping to get their hands on the trophy – two in the yellow of BVB and, of course, one in the white of the Spanish giants.
Jadon Sancho and 19-year-old Jamie Bynoe-Gittens will both be looking to impress and spring a surprise under the Wembley arch. But Jude Bellingham, after a stunning debut season in the Spanish capital, will look to end the hopes of his former side.
The 20-year-old has already won La Liga and contributed 23 goals and 12 assists in 41 matches this term, will link up with England ahead of the Euros next week – and will hope to do so on a high.
