The action on the LIV Golf schedule continues this weekend, with the competitive golf being staged in Andalucia in Spain. An individual purse of $20 million will be up for grabs in Europe, with LIV Golf set to enjoy its first of two events in Europe before the end of July.
Before Betting On LIV Golf Andalucia
LIV Golf Andalucia was staged for the first time on the Saudi-backed tour in 2023, and this weekend’s event will once again see the 54-man field compete across the same number of holes. It is the 9th event on the LIV schedule this season, with the campaign set to reach its conclusion before the end of September with three events in the United States, and one date in the United Kingdom.
Once again, the event this weekend will be staged at Valderrama Golf Club, which famously hosted the Ryder Cup in 1997. It has also played host to competitive events on the European Tour in recent years, with the Andalucia Masters having been staged at the location 2010.
All eyes will be on Jon Rahm this weekend, as he will be playing in his home country. The former world number one has endured a testing campaign on the course, and this would be seen as a perfect opportunity to bounce back ahead of The Open Championship. However, Bryson DeChambeau could bring the best form into the competition after winning the U.S. Open last month.
Tyrrell Hatton enjoyed a first success on the LIV schedule in the previous event in Nashville, giving Legion XIII a third victory of the season. Brooks Koepka has also been in strong form this season, and he could be a front-runner to win a fifth LIV event. However, Joaquin Niemann continues to lead the standings after winning two events this season, and he concluded the recent event in Nashville in a tie for third.

The pressure will be on Rahm this weekend, but it could be another Spanish star that sends the fans home happy. Sergio Garcia has won the Andalucia Masters on three previous occasions, and comes into this event after finishing second on two previous occasions this season.
