After three wonderful holidays on Iona, Arvia and Britannia we were really looking forward to our cruise on the Azura.
We expected to see the signs of a badly needed refit so that didn’t bother us.

Balcony cabin deck 11 a bit tired, felt as though it was last refurbished years ago but cabin steward Sydney was to be commended, kept cabin clean and offered anything we needed, thank you Sydney. We chose based on dates, itinerary, price and P&O reputation. Our balcony cabin was roomy, comfortable and mostly well kept. It’s a tired older ship, cabin carpet had some stains, the fridge barely worked and the cold water wasn’t cold. The ship was crowded, it being August, and felt it at times. Reception weren’t great. We were excited for our cruise, it was going to 9 destinations and 8 we had never been to before. We are not new to cruising so knew what to expect on a well detailed and organised cruise.
The Ship is fine in itself, if a little tired in places. The Captain was brilliant, he was from Derbyshire and made every announcement funny, but informative.
