QJ Motor SRT 600 to arrive in Europe in 2024?

Must read

QJ Motor is expected to expand its mid-cylinder line-up in 2024 with the arrival of the new QJ Motor SRT 600. The SRT 600 will arrive this year, according to the homologation documents communicated by Cycle World.

The documents show the SRT 600 as a medium-cylinder touring bike that will replace the existing SRT 550, which in turn was an improved version of the previous SRT 500.

A 554cc twin-cylinder engine will be at the heart of the SRT 600, so don’t get carried away with the number shown in the name – this is no 600cc supersport machine. Instead, the engine is the same one used by the 550, and even in the new Benelli TRK 552. But despite keeping the engine, power is increased from the SRT 550’s 47 hp to 60 hp, which is the same as that found in the sportier SRK 550 models. The weight of the SRT 600 is reduced compared to the 550 to 220 kg.

Radial-mount calipers supplied by Brembo are also part of the specification and there are four different variants of the SRT 600 detailed by QJ, with two top-of-the-range versions with additional luggage capacity and crash protection and two lower-end (and probably lower-priced) versions. Whichever variant you choose, you can choose between spoked or cast wheels.

The aesthetics have also been changed from the SRT 550, with a new design without the beak at the front that departs somewhat from the norm of contemporary Adventure Touring. QJ Motor has not yet officially announced the bike, so there is no official confirmation as to when it might arrive in dealerships.
