Terzic proud of his players
Borussia Dortmund manager Edin Terzic was gutted to lose the Champions League final, but he thought his team played very well.
Speaking to TNT Sports, he said: “It’s difficult to find the right words.
“Performance-wise, it was a great game, but we also found out why they became champions for the 15th time.
“They are so effective, and this was something we missed it.
“But we gave a really good game and showed everyone we were here to win, there were just some small things missing.
“I am proud. This is a proud moment. We brought nearly 100,000 people to London, and it was a fantastic journey, but I am a bit empty.”
Dortmund thank fans
You know what, those Dortmund fans were absolutely incredible.
They were loud and passionate throughout and their team did them proud, but it wasn’t to be.
