European Aquatics, together with the organising committee for Belgrade 2024, are delighted to announce that the registration process for this year’s European Aquatics Masters Championships in Serbia is NOW OPEN.

The multi-discipline competition will take place in Serbia from 26 June to 6 July this summer.

Organisers are keen to build on the success of the previous edition, Roma 2022, which saw over 5,000 athletes from 38 nations compete for medals in 302 events across five sports.

Belgrade 2024 will be the 19th European Masters Aquatics Championships, with the first having taken place in Blackpool, UK, in 1987.

“Serbia is a sport-living country with rich history, but it is also becoming increasingly known as a host of major competitions, across all sports,” said European Aquatics President Antonio Silva.

“I would like to warmly thank our friends at the Serbian Swimming Federation for agreeing to host this competition under the best possible conditions, despite having only just over six months of preparation time.

President Silva continued; “Great efforts have been made to ensure that the pools and open water facilities in Belgrade will give athletes the best possible environment to perform.”

Masters’ swimming (held at the Sports Centre Milan Gale Muskatirovic) and water polo (Sports Centre 11 April) competitions, will commence on the opening day, 26 June, and run through to 3 July.

Diving (Serbian Institute for Sports and Sports Medicine) will run from 28 June, with artistic swimming (Sports Centre Tasmajdan) beginning the following day; with each concluding on 3 July.

The final three days of Belgrade 2024 will be dedicated to open water events at the stunning Ada Ciganlija venue.
