Etihad Airways has agreed to distribute its New Distribution Capability content through Sabre-connected channels, the travel technology company announced on Wednesday (26 June).
Currently, the ability to access and service Etihad NDC fares through Sabre-connected channels is limited to agencies in Oman and Bahrain, according to Sabre, “with a broader rollout to follow.”
Responding to queries by BTN Europe, Sabre said the two parties will review the NDC launch in the Middle East before “phasing in” the next steps of a global rollout.
Sabre-connected agencies will be able to access and service Etihad NDC content through APIs, the Sabre Red 360 travel agency booking application and Sabre’s GetThere corporate booking tool.
Etihad earlier this year made its NDC content available through Travelport.
