Concerts veteran, Toby Leighton-Pope, will head the newly formed TEG Europe in the position of Managing Director, effective today (Monday, August 1), TEG has announced.
Leighton-Pope will oversee the operation, strategic direction and expansion of TEG’s UK-based Integrated Live Entertainment ticketing, venue, digital and data operations.
Leighton-Pope was formerly the co-CEO of AEG Presents UK, from 2016 to December 2021, and spent the prior 16 years at Live Nation, latterly as Senior Vice President, Music.
The British exec’s career in live music has included promoting acts such as Bruce Springsteen, Michael Bublé and Olly Murs; indie acts, including Arcade Fire and Jack Johnson.
When he promoted the Hard Rock Calling Festival, he worked with artists such as Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon and The Who.

TEG EUROPE, formed in July 2022, comprises TEG LIVE EUROPE, which has toured artists including Snoop Dogg, Sia, Hans Zimmer, 50 Cent and Tom Jones; TICKETEK, an end-to-end ticketing services provider; OVATION, TEG’s data science and analytics business; PROPAGANDA, a UK indie rock & roll night club brand, and TEG VENUES, which includes 10 owned, operated, co-promoted, and programmed Venues throughout the UK.
In July 2022, Australia-born music NFT startup, Serenade, announced the appointment of Leighton-Pope, along with other music industry executives, to its advisory board to offer guidance and insight into fundamental issues pertaining to the company’s UK presence.
