Em has praised Bosnia and Herzegovina as one of the continent’s hidden treasures, according to the Mirror. In her latest TikTok video, she said: “My favourite country of 2024 and one of the cheapest and most underrated in Europe! Perfect for a budget couples holiday or girls’ trip.”
Already having explored nine countries this year, Em has placed Bosnia and Herzegovina at the top of her list. She calls it a “hidden gem” and pointing out that Ryanair now flies there for cheap.

In just four days, Em spent only £158.44. She said this figure impressively included “flights, accommodation, food, activities, transport – literally everything”.
She confirmed that Bosnia and Herzegovina definitely deserves its title as one of the “cheapest countries to visit in Europe”. Em’s stay in Sarajevo, the nation’s capital, was “beautiful” and felt “felt really safe”.
She was effusive about the local hospitality, remarking that the people were “very friendly” and praising Bosnia for its “stunning scenery”, which includes “mountains, rivers, lakes and waterfalls”. She also spoke highly of Mostar, a city reachable within two hours from Sarajevo, calling it “magical” and “the perfect place to explore for hours”.
She said: “I definitely wanted more than the four days I had here. [It was] an amazing trip”.
The revelation sparked curiosity among viewers, with one commenting that Bosnia and Herzegovina was now “grabbing” their interest. Others were taken aback by how affordable the country is.
Some couldn’t help but be wowed at the views in Em’s TikTok. One said: “Mostar is honestly one of the prettiest places I’ve been to! the terrace restaurant overlooking the river… beautiful!”
