Travel gurus have scrutinised 75 popular beach hotspots in Europe to unveil the top budget-friendly beaches for your summer getaway this year.
For the second consecutive year, travel experts from Omio, a leading booking platform for trains, buses, flights and ferries, have compiled a list of the most affordable beach destinations in Europe. The list highlights seaside retreats that provide the best value for money for those looking to escape the city’s sweltering heat this summer.
Out of the 75 beaches evaluated, eight were UK-based. The study took into account factors such as Google ratings, average summer temperatures, as well as this year’s retail prices and rental fees for essential beach items.
