Must read

Nikola Jokic has been enjoying his offseason in Europe, participating in various activities such as horse racing in Sweden, rafting in Bosnia, and partying in Serbia. After being eliminated from the playoffs by the Timberwolves, Jokic has been making the most of his free time.

Jokic’s fun-filled offseason was interrupted by the news that he will be part of Team Serbia’s initial roster for the 2024 Paris Olympics. This comes as no surprise, given his talent and experience. Nikola Jokic will be leading a team that won a silver medal in 2016.

Jokic and Bogdan Bogdanovic were recently seen celebrating a horse race win together in Sombor. Nikola Jokic’s horse ‘Amsterdam’ got the winner’s trophy, which Jokic lifted as his friends cheered. The Nuggets’ superstar’s daughter Ognjena was also there with her father.

Bogdan Bogdanovic will also be joining Jokic on the Serbian squad. Bogdanovic was recently named the captain of the Serbian national team and led them to a silver medal in the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup. With their combined talent and chemistry, Team Serbia is expected to make a strong showing at the Paris Olympics.

Nikola Jokic gets seal of approval from Gru himself, Steve Carell

Nikola Jokic’s humorous costume choice as Gru from ‘Despicable Me’ during the season has recently caught the attention of Gru’s voice actor, Steve Carell. Carell praised Jokic’s efforts, saying he “nailed it completely” and gave him “high marks” for his spot-on impression.

Pretty good, I think he nailed it completely. Good for him, I give him high marks for that.

Steve Carell said in an interview

Jokic’s playful personality and fame may lead to future opportunities, maybe even a voice role in a future ‘Despicable Me’ movie. For now, he’s embracing his offseason, enjoying various activities like river rafting, dancing, and spending time with family, as seen in viral clips.

While Jokic is relishing his free time, he’ll shift his focus back to basketball in three months when training camp begins. His dedication to his craft is unwavering, but it’s clear he also values enjoying life’s simple pleasures and having fun, making him a beloved figure both on and off the court.
