The Euro 2024 last-16 draw was finalised on Wednesday evening and the first fixtures of the knockout stage will begin this weekend.

England are one of the teams who have safely made it through to the last 16, despite their string of poor performances, with the Three Lions finishing top of Group C courtesy of a win over Serbia and draws against Denmark and Slovenia.

Gareth Southgate’s side will now play Slovakia in their last-16 tie on Sunday at 5pm.

Let’s take a look at which teams have already been knocked out of Euro 2024 and which sides have qualified for the knockout stage with the Round of 16 draw and schedule.

England are joined in the last 16 by Group C rivals Denmark, whilst Slovenia’s point against England was enough to see them qualify for the knockout stages for the first time in their history.

Ralf Rangnick’s impressive Austria side were the surprise winners of Group D, finishing first ahead of France and Netherlands.

Romania were also surprise winners of Group E, pipping Belgium to top spot in a group where all four teams finished on four points.

Portugal booked their place in the Round of 16 as group winners ahead of Turkey, although they were beaten 2-0 by Georgia in their final group game on Wednesday night.

Georgia have reached the knockouts stages in their very first major tournament, with Netherlands, Slovakia and Slovenia joining them as the four best third-placed teams.
