Sure, traveling alone can be fun, but sometimes a vacation shared with the perfect travel companion is unbeatable.

We spoke to astrologer Jennifer Angel, founder of Jennifer Angel Horoscopes, to see who your ideal travel mate should be based on your zodiac sign.

Aries matches well with Sagittarius and Gemini

According to Angel, Aries and Sagittarii are ideal travel mates because they are both fire signs, meaning they are self-sufficient, spontaneous, and enthusiastic.

She added that Aries is a Cardinal sign (associated with starting things), while Sagittarius is a Mutable sign (associated with flexibility). This means that Sagittarii will go along with the things Aries want to do and is able to “change direction more easily.”

If you’re an Aries that doesn’t have any Sagittarius friends to bring on vacation, Angel said that Geminis also make good travel companions, as they are also a Mutable sign. Angel also said that Geminis are more relaxed about change than Aries.

Angel said both Geminis and Aries are “interested in experiencing everything” and “enjoy spontaneity,” making them good travel partners.

Taurus and Cancer both like to pace themselves.

“Tauruses like their home comforts, luxury, and good food, so Cancers would be great to travel with Tauruses,” Angel said. “They also like to pace themselves.”

Angel said that Tauruses and Libras could also be a good travel match, “because they love luxury, like food, and enjoy taking their time while traveling, much like Tauruses.”

She said, “Libras like to go down memory lane a little bit and so do Tauruses, so that’s a good mix of energy.”

Gemini and Aquarius are both interested in activity and learning.

Angel said that the ideal travel partner for Geminis is an Aquarius “because they are both intellectual signs.”

She said, “Aquarius is a Fixed sign, meaning they have more definite ideas, and Geminis can be pretty easy going. They are both interested in activity and learning, so they would be good as travel mates.”

Angel also said Geminis would match well with Aries on vacation because “they are both very inquisitive” and “enjoy spontaneity.”

Both Cancer and Taurus love luxury.

According to Angel, Cancer matches with Taurus because they both like luxury, and enjoy doing things in a laid-back fashion. She said, “Both of these signs are not totally on the go. They like to pace themselves.”

Angel said Cancers and Libras would also do well together on holiday because they are both interested in culture and luxury. Libras also don’t like disharmony, which can balance Cancers.

“Cancers can be a little moody, so Libras can let go of that a bit. So those two would be perfect,” Angel said.

Both Leo and Libra love to experience life.

According to Angel, Leos’ perfect travel mate is a Libra.

“Leos love to hit the most luxurious, hot, and happening spots. They also love to entertain, and Libras are also great entertainers and organizers, “Angel said. “The thing about the Leo is that it’s such a strong sign, and the Libra is going to go along. They both love to experience life, and both have a love of beauty and entertaining.”

Virgo and Capricorn are both very organized.

According to Angel, Virgos and Capricorns are perfect travel companions because they are both very organized.

“Virgos and Capricorns are good together because they will organize everything, have a plan, be punctual, and make sure everything works out,” Angel said. “There won’t be any sort of upsets between them because they will know what they’re doing every moment of the day for the whole vacation, and will be on time so they won’t miss any planes, trains, or bookings.”

She said Virgos and Geminis could also work well as travel mates because they are both very intellectual, and would enjoy doing a lot of the same activities.

According to Angel, two Libras would make the ultimate travel duo because they both love to explore, are both inquisitive, both like art and culture, and are both organizers and initiators.

“They are like two peas in a pod,” Angel said.

“When Libra and Libra are together, they don’t need anyone else, they can co-exist with each other. As travel partners, their trips are well planned out. They are also good at compromising.”

Angel said Libras and Tauruses also make good travel mates because they both like art, culture, and beauty.

Scorpio and Pisces are interested in a lot of the same things.

Angel matched Scorpios and Pisces together as ideal travel mates because they are interested in a lot of the same things.

She said, “Although Scorpios tend to be more dominant, the Water signs work well with it.”

Scorpio is a Fixed sign (associated with being stubborn), and Pisces is a Mutable sign (associated with being more flexible), so even though Scorpios tend to take control, Angel said that they shouldn’t get into any conflicts over it.

Angel said a Scorpio could also travel well with another Scorpio, because “If they are in tune, there is nothing they can’t achieve together.”

Sagittarius and Aries both enjoy spontaneity.

“Sagittarii love to travel. The Aries and the Sagittarius are good together,” said Angel.

Aries is a Cardinal sign (associated with starting things) and Sagittarius is a Mutable sign (associated with flexibility), which means Sagittarii will go along with the things Aries want to do, and be able to “change direction more easily.”

Angel also mentioned that Sagittarii and Geminis would travel well together because they are both “interested in experiencing everything,” they “enjoy spontaneity,” and they are independent and happy to do their own thing.

Capricorn and Virgo will stick to their schedule.

Angel said Capricorns and Virgos are like “two peas in a pod” when it comes to traveling because they are both very organized signs.

“If a Virgo is traveling with someone who is not going to keep to their schedule, it’s going to drive them nuts, so those two are perfect together,” Angel said.

She also mentioned that Capricorns and Pisces would be good fit for travel.

“Pisces help to lighten Capricorn’s energy, and Capricorns help keep Pisces grounded. Capricorns can get a little serious, so when on vacation the Pisces helps them get away from business,” Angel said.

“Aquariuses and Libras are good together because they are both Air signs, so they are both very intellectual,” Angel said.

She also said they are good together because the Libra can help bring the Aquarius out of their shell.

“The Aquarius is interested in learning and very open-minded, and the Libra will get out more and be social,” Angel said. “The Libra will pull the Aquarius out to be more social with them, which could be nice on a vacation.”

Pisces and Taurus both like “the good life.”

According to Angel, Pisces and Tauruses are good travel mates because they are both romantics, and have a similar taste in what they like.

“They both like ‘the good life’ and good things, so they are quite harmonious in that sense,” Angel said.

“The Taurus is a Fixed sign (associated with being more stubborn) and the Pisces is a Mutable sign (associated with being more flexible), so that makes them a good mix because one will be more compromising than the other,” Angel said. “If you have two Fixed signs together, that’s where you can get into trouble.”
